Alpha testing is in progress

Words first. People second. Profiles later.

LiltChat

A random chat app for meeting someone through plain text only. No photos, no links, no swiping, no filters. Just a brief window with another person and whatever you both decide to say.

App downloads are not public yet. Alpha testers are using the early build while the experience is refined.

What it is

A small room for a random conversation.

LiltChat pairs people for a limited chat cycle. Your first signal is not a selfie, a follower count, or a polished profile. It is the first sentence you choose to send.

How it works

Simple on purpose.

01

Verify by email

Email is used for authentication only. It is not part of the visible chat profile.

02

Get paired

The app finds someone random. No browsing, ranking, or choosing from a list.

03

Chat in words

Messages are text only. Media, links, and performative profile polish stay outside the room.

04

Share later

Optional profile details appear only after both people agree inside the chat.

Why it feels different

Less performance. More curiosity.

  • Random pairings keep the room open-ended.
  • Text-only chat keeps attention on tone and thought.
  • Daily reset keeps the experience light and temporary.
  • Profile sharing requires mutual consent.

Privacy and safety

Small by design.

Passwordless login

Sign in with an email code. No app password to remember, reuse, leak, or reset.

Minimal profile data

Email is for authentication only. It is not shown in chat, and the app avoids collecting sensitive profile details.

Chats expire for real

Messages are designed to be hard-deleted from active app storage at the 24-hour reset, rather than hidden in an old inbox.

No targeted drops

Pairing is random and text only, so people cannot aim media, links, or unsolicited files at a chosen target.

Alpha status

Not public yet.

LiltChat is currently in alpha testing. The public app store links will appear here only when the build is ready for a wider release.
